Join us for a special evening at The Bark Knoxville as we host Rescue Dog Night in support of HALT (Humans and Animals Learning Together), a program doing incredible work right here in our community.
HALT is a unique initiative that brings together at-risk youth and shelter dogs in a powerful way. Over the course of four weeks, participants work hands-on with rescue dogs, teaching them basic obedience, building confidence, and helping them develop the skills they need to thrive in a home environment. At the same time, the youth involved are learning responsibility, patience, and connection—creating a life-changing experience for both ends of the leash. At the end of the program, these dogs are adopted out to loving families, better prepared for a successful future.
For this event, we’re inviting our community to come together and support this mission in a simple but impactful way. Enjoy free entry into the dog park with a donation of training treats or freeze-dried treats for HALT. These donations go directly toward supporting the dogs in the program as they learn and grow.
Bring your pup, grab a drink, and be part of something meaningful. Whether you’re a regular at the Bark or it’s your first visit, Rescue Dog Night is a great opportunity to give back while enjoying a fun, social environment with fellow dog lovers.
Let’s show up for these dogs and the people working hard to give them a second chance.
