Res Hub Mapping Project: CAC Kick-Off

Thrive Asheville, in partnership with the City of Asheville, is launching a Resilience Ecosystem Mapping Project to better understand the organizations, institutions, and spaces that supported our community before, during, and after Hurricane Helene — and that continue to strengthen resilience today.

We are forming a Community Advisory Committee (CAC) and inviting community leaders and organizations that played a critical role in post-Helene response and recovery to participate. CAC members will help guide the project by identifying key voices to interview, supporting outreach for a community survey and Day of Listening, and reviewing draft findings to ensure they reflect lived experience.

The CAC will meet four times between February 27 and May 30, with an estimated 2-hour commitment per month. The first meeting will take place on February 27 at 1:15 pm, immediately following the Resilience Hub Network Summit. Lunch and a stipend will be provided
