Representation Matters: Centering Latino Stories, Histories & Voices
About this Event
Join NYC Region II of the New York State Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents (NYSALAS) for a powerful convening highlighting the importance of representation in education.
Representation Matters: Centering Latino Stories, Histories & Voices brings together educators, students, leaders, and community members for an engaging panel discussion on the role of Latino narratives in shaping curriculum, strengthening student identity, and creating learning environments where all students feel seen and valued.
The evening will also include a special recognition honoring elected leaders whose support has helped advance curriculum initiatives that elevate student stories and expand access to culturally responsive education.
Together, we will engage in meaningful dialogue about what it means to move beyond representation and into action within our schools and communities.
Every student seen. Every voice valued. Every story matters.
