About this Event
Repairing the World: Stories from the Tree of Life documents the Pittsburgh community’s powerful response to hate in the aftermath of the deadliest antisemitic attack in U.S. history.
Through the voices of survivors, family members of the victims, diverse Pittsburgh residents and civic leaders, the film shows unity in a moment of crisis, the resilience of a vibrant city, and a community working together to understand what it means to be "stronger than hate."
The expert-led community conversation following the screening will focus on issues raised by the film, such as understanding extremism, hate speech and antisemitism, and exploring the Pittsburgh community’s response and healing following the violence.
This event will be held at the Mukund S. Kulkarni Theatre at Penn State Harrisburg in the Student Enrichment Center. Get driving directions, parking instructions and a campus map on the Penn State Harrisburg website.
