Repair Knits with Darning

That favorite sweater with the hole in the elbow? The cozy socks you can't bear to toss? Don't retire them. Repair them. In this session of our Revive Your Wardrobe series, you'll learn darning, the classic woven repair used to fix holes and worn spots in knitwear with nothing more than a needle and thread. By weaving threads vertically and horizontally across the damaged area, you create a patch that's sturdy and made to last. You can also style it however you like: a bold pop of contrasting color, or a repair so subtle no one will ever know.
