On the 3rd Saturday of the month, we host our collaborative Repair Café run by Repair Café Aotearoa NZ and Tāmaki Pātaka Kōrero Central City Library. Let’s make 2026 the year of making things last!
What is on offer?
- Repairs and mending of clothing and textiles (no alterations), as well as small electrical household items such as toasters, lamps, vacuum cleaners, etc. We don’t accept microwaves.
- Assessment and advice for electronics will also be available, subject to volunteer availability.
- General items may also be repairable — bring them along and we’ll have a go.
To accommodate everyone you’ll be able to see our volunteer repairers for one item at a time. If you have more than one item and there is enough time, you can register your second item after you first item has been assessed.
