After a break over the festive season we are returning in February. We are currently looking for a new host for the Repair Cafe. More information can be found here https://scecocentre.org.nz/projects/repaircafe/Our Repair Cafés run on the second Sunday of every month, proudly hosted by the Sustainable South Canterbury Trust and supported by our incredible community volunteers.
These sessions are a hive of activity, with skilled sewing machinists, hand sewers, and clever fixers with tools helping to breathe new life into broken or worn-out items—all while keeping them out of landfill.
We’re always on the lookout for more talented volunteers to join the team. If you have a knack for fixing things or a passion for sustainability, we’d love to hear from you!
