Repair Cafe Guilford is back for the 3rd year!SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2 FROM 1-4PM AT THE GUILFORD COMMUNITY CENTER located at 32 Church Street, Guilford, CT.
Repair Cafe is a community event where people can bring their broken items from home and get help fixing them free of charge from volunteer repair experts. Lamps, clothing, toys -- almost anything broken is welcome.
Everyone is welcome (refreshments will be served!), whether you have anything to repair or not.
A few important notes below -- please see the "Discussion" page for more FAQs.
1. Repairs are limited to 30 minutes per item. This means that complicated repairs may not be possible. However, our repairers are usually able to offer excellent advice.
2. There is a limit of 2 items to fix. If you bring more than one item, you will need to go to the back of the registration line for each item.
3. Attendees sign a waiver when they arrive.
4. We will have refreshments while you wait. Please enjoy!
5. Our generous volunteer fixers will assess your item and let you know if they can help with the repair or not. If they can repair it, please remain with your fixer and learn what they are doing.
