Repair Cafe Boise!

Have a lamp that won't turn on, a clock that's stopped ticking, a favorite necklace that snapped or clothes with a tear? Don't give up on it just yet! Bring one household item to Repair Café Boise on Thursday, August 27, from 4–7 p.m. at JUMP for a free community repair event hosted by the City of Boise and JUMP.
Skilled volunteer fixers will work alongside you to repair your item or help identify repair solutions. While not every item can be fixed, many leave with their belongings repaired, new repair skills, and a better understanding of how to extend the life of everyday items.
Learn more at jumpboise.org/repair-cafe or reach out to Curb It by email [email protected] or call (208) 608-7136
EVENT SCHEDULE
4:00 p.m. - Doors open
Complete a waiver and have your item weighed and assigned to the appropriate repair station. While you wait for a volunteer fixer, enjoy a snack, connect with neighbors and explore local repair resources.
WHAT TO BRING
Participants may bring ONE item weighing 50 pounds or less, such as clothing, jewelry, small kitchen appliances, lamps, clocks, vacuums, toys and more!
We will not be repairing bicycles, firearms, knives and blades, large appliances, gas-powered machinery, or any item that could create a health or safety hazard.
PARKING
Parking is available at JUMP for a fee in the on-site parking garage or in the lot across Myrtle Street. We also encourage you to use public transportation, bike, walk or carpool whenever possible.
ACCESSIBILITY
The City of Boise is committed to ensuring equal access to all public meetings, programs, and services. Reasonable accommodations and effective communication—such as ASL interpretation, materials in alternative formats and language access—are available at no cost to facilitate participation. To request an accommodation, please contact us at [email protected] or call (208) 972-8500, TTY: 711.
