Don’t throw away your broken item; bring it to Repair Café! SalemRecycles hosts a Repair Café on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Community Life Center at 401 Bridge St. Appointments are required and are filling quickly (openings are primarily with sewing and computer help).

REPAIR volunteers will be available to mend clothing, sew buttons, diagnose computers/phones/tablets, tutor you on usage of these devices, and more. We hope to see you at this fun event where you can learn how to fix things and reduce your waste!
TERRACYCLE collections — We’re collecting 4 categories of otherwise hard-to-recycle items. Please keep each TerraCycle stream separate.
* Swiffers: All used, dried Swiffer pads.
* Razors: All brands of reusable and disposable razors, blades & cartridges, as well as any flexible or rigid plastic packaging they come in.
* Dental Care: All brands of non-electric toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes, floss containers, and toothbrush packaging.
* Brita: Brita dispenser, Brita pitchers, Brita bottles, Brita standard filters, Brita Stream filters, Brita bottle filters, Brita filter packaging, Brita filters, Brita Stream® pitchers.
