Re.opera presents: Verdi's Don Carlo in Concert

re.Opera is a new platform for curated opera concerts, centred on singers. It exists to bring artists together in collaborative projects, creating space for agency, curiosity, and musical confidence.

For the debut performance, re.Opera presents highlights from Giuseppe Verdi’s monumental opera Don Carlo. Set within the shadow of the Spanish court and the Inquisition, the opera explores love, friendship, power and sacrifice through some of Verdi’s most dramatic and emotionally charged music.

This concert brings together a brilliant cast of emerging professional singers, working collaboratively to explore and share this extraordinary score. In keeping with re.Opera’s ethos, the performance places singers and musical storytelling at the centre, creating an intimate and focused operatic experience.
