The Amazing REO Brothers Band
There is no other Philippine band who has captured the admiration of the music world here and overseas, just a year and a half after breaking into Manila’s music scene:
- The only standing ovation at the Araneta Coliseum at the ABS CBN Christmas TV special on December 10, 2013, barely 3 weeks after their arrival from their devastated province of Tacloban;
- Featured performer at the Madison Square Garden in New York on March 9, 2014 along with established international stars Jennifer Hudson, Jessica Sanchez, Charice Pempengco, and Fil-Am award-winning song writer Robert Lopez of “Let It Go” fame;
- Main performer in the Independence Day commemoration in Tokyo, Japan on June 14, 2014;
- SRO concerts in LA (March 11, 2014), U.K. (London and Birmingham in July-August 2014, with repeat shows, in November 2014 (Belfast, Newcastle and London).
- The first-ever performance of a Philippine Beatle tribute band at the famed Cavern Club in Liverpool, England on August 1, 2014, and at the invitation of Cavern management a repeat concert on October 31, 2014.
- The only invitation, ever, to any Philippine band to perform in the Beatleweek International Festival to held in Liverpool, UK from August 26 to September 1, 2015. The Beatleweek Festival will feature the elite Beatle tribute bands from all over the world.
- Top 10 ranking album within a month of launch. Their album ranks 8th among OPM artists, based on record sales for the past 6 months.
For both local and overseas audiences, they not only represent musical prowess but are exemplary models, deserving of admiration for an incredible journey from the deepest pits of despair in leaving their devastated hometown, heart-broken, armed only with faith in themselves, and then a phenomenal rise with raw musical talent!
The REO Brothers are Reno 25, RJ 23, Raymart 21, and Ralph 18 years old who have astonished the music world with their story of grit and survival and importantly, and phenomenal rise to success in the music world.
