Renting in Richmond: Housing and Zoning Listening Session

Renters make up the majority of Richmonders, but are often left out of policy conversations about housing, land use, and planning. Join us for a community listening session to share your experiences as a renter in Richmond and changes you’d like to see in your community, and learn how the City’s zoning affects what can be built and how that shapes our neighborhoods. Feedback from the listening session will be summarized and shared with City decisionmakers, including City Council, to advocate for policy changes that benefit tenants in Richmond.

Light refreshments will be available. This event is free and open to all; however, it is intended for renters, so we please ask that homeowners respect the purpose of the event.

This event is hosted by local nonprofits Community Climate Collaborative (C3) and the Partnership for Smarter Growth (PSG), with support from the Homes for All Our Neighbors coalition.

This event will be in the Gellman Room in the Main Branch of the Richmond Public Library. It is ADA accessible.
