Renting in Auckland & The Election: Renters United

Join us for a General Election event by Auckland Renters for Auckland Renters, hosted by Renters United!

We’ll be joined by representatives from parties across the political spectrum for an informal event that gives us the opportunity to share the realities of renting with them, as well as giving them an opportunity to share their visions for what renting could be.

The event will feature Ricardo Menéndez March (Green), Helen White (Labour), Ciara Swords (TOP), Ollie Murphy (ACT) with invites having been sent to all major parties.

We’ll hold space for renters to share their stories with these leaders who hope to represent them in a safe space, facilitate discussion of what we all think renting should be and challenge these candidates on how they intend to bring about the changes that we know we need.
