Renters' Rights Workshop

Congressman Jimmy Gomez, along with Congresswoman Cori Bush and fellow members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, gathered on the steps of the U.S. Capitol to fight for the extension of the national eviction moratorium. On August 26, 2021, the Supreme Court issued a cruel decision, blocking the Biden administrationfrom enforcing the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's eviction moratorium.

Know that our office is working diligently to address this issue.

This workshop will cover tenant rights as well as provide updates on the federal Emergency Rental Assistance program. Additionally, individuals will have the opportunity to connect with a tenant advocate or attorney through one-on-one informational sessions (on a first come, first serve basis)

The event is free and open to the public. RSVP is required.
