Inspired by the historic Rent Parties, this event honors a tradition of communities coming together to support one another during challenging times. Today, as culturally specific organizations face funding cuts, increasing community needs, and growing pressure on the people doing this critical work, we are embracing that same spirit of collective care, resilience, and generosity.
Join us for an evening filled with:
- 90's-themed nostalgia and celebration
- Dinner, music, dancing, and community connection
- Powerful stories of impact and resilience
- Recognition of extraordinary leadership, including the presentation of the Irvienne Goldson Community, Care, and Connection Award to Senator Liz Miranda
- Opportunities to invest in the future of Women of Color leadership and survivor advocacy across Massachusetts
Every ticket purchased helps MAWOCN continue supporting Women of Color leaders, advocates, and survivors throughout the Commonwealth through leadership development, culturally specific training and technical assistance, healing-centered programming, and community-building initiatives.
