Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Rent has become a pop cultural phenomenon, with songs that rock and a story that continues to resonate in today’s world. Based on Puccini’s beloved opera La Bohème, this musical revolutionized modern theatre with a stunningly raw and emotional portrait that follows the ups and downs of a year in the life of a group of impoverished, artistic friends.
