ELIGIBILITY & GENERAL INFO
• You must be 18 or older by January 13, 2026, to audition.
• ID will be checked by the Stage Manager at auditions.
• This is a non-paid production.
• Cast members may be expected to provide their own costumes.
When to expect a response?
Monday-Friday
Between 12:30 PM 2:00 PM
Or between 7 PM-10 PM
Saturdays/Sunday
Throughout the day.

In-Person Auditions
Dates: December 5 & 6, 2025
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: Deane Dance Center
Must be available for callbacks.
There are 30 audition slots per night, in 5-minute increments.
Once all slots are filled, additional registrants will be placed on a waitlist.
You will receive an email with your assigned time.
Walk-ins will be accepted, but placed on the waitlist.

• A Bluetooth speaker will be available, or you may bring your own.

Mark Cohen
Filmmaker and video artist. Knee deep in his own soul-searching, Mark is the typical young artist. He and Roger are roommates in the loft. A bit of a nerd.

Roger Davis
A struggling musician and former drug addict. He is reminiscent of Kurt Cobain. Roommates with Mark in the loft and battles with being HIV-positive.
Those with Guitar experience desired , but not required

Tom Collins
A computer genius and liberal professor. He is a nurturer with a smooth and relaxed disposition. Used to be a roommate in the loft and is HIV-positive.

Benjamin Coffin III
The landlord of Mark and Roger's apartment building. A former
roommate in the loft, Benny traded in his personal morals for power
and wealth.

Angel Dumott Schunard
Those with Drag Queen experience desired , but not required
The eccentric HIV-positive street drummer. A drag queen with an incredible gift of dance and a magnetic personality. He becomes Tom's lover.

Joanne Jefferson
A public interest lawyer and headstrong lesbian. She is smart and
purposeful in all her decisions. Carries on a tumultuous relationship with Maureen.

Mimi Marquez
An HIV-positive stripper with drug addictions. Slender and sickly, she conceals it all at her job in the local strip club. She lives in the same building as the loft.

Maureen Johnson
An unpredictably zany performance artist. Maureen oozes sexuality and used to live in the loft. She has recently dumped Mark for Joanne.
