Renewal - Women's Dance Circle

This is a safe supportive space for women to connect to their bodies through dance. It's a place to express your joy, shake off your stress, or purge your poison.

This is a free-form dance followed by a sharing circle. The music is a mix of world music, soul, funk, and disco.

A well nourished woman is a blessing to everyone who comes into her field. ?

So come and join us for sun, sand and sisterhood.

Where: On the Beach in Santa Monica. DO NOT USE THE MAP ON THIS EVENTBRITE. Directions: Set your GPS to Perry's Cafe (2600 Ocean Front Walk, Santa Monica) The parking lot is on the corner of Hollister and Ocean Ave. When you are coming down the ramp to the parking lot turn RIGHT into the lot (the GPS will guide you to turn left) Go as far to the end of the lot as you can to park.

We will be on the sand closer to the parking lot than the water. As you are facing the beach you will see volley ball nets--we are to the right of the volley ball nets between life guard stand 22 & 24. Look for the two blue umbrellas.

Please bring water and a towel to sit on.

IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ:

You must arrive on time. There is a grounding circle and embodiment section that happens before we start dancing. This is a crucial part of the experience. It is disruptive to me and the other women when people straggle in late. If you arrive later than 4:10 you will be asked not to participate. I ask that you honor this request, and if you want to join, please be in for the full experience.
