Hosted by Gaden Samten Ling Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Society, we have designed this retreat to help you unwind, relax, and reconnect with yourself through the practices of meditation and mindful movement. You will enjoy authentic Tibetan Buddhist meditation teachings, dharma talks, and yoga.
This 2.5-day retreat will provide you with the perfect opportunity to escape the daily grind and immerse yourself in a serene environment that promotes self-discovery, healing, and renewal.
What’s Included:
-Accommodations for 2 nights at the Providence Renewal Centre (commute option available)
-All meals: Friday dinner; Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner; Sunday breakfast and lunch. Dietary options are available, such as vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.
-Twice Daily Mindful Movement classes: Yoga and Qigong Flow in the AM and Gentle Yoga in the PM
-Meditation classes focused on mindfulness, stress reduction, and personal growth
-Dharma & Buddhist philosophy classes exploring the basics of Buddhism
-Nightly screenings of the first four modules in the Discovering Buddhism series
-Guided Walking Meditation at the outdoor Labyrinth
-Access to the beautiful grounds and facilities of the Providence Renewal Centre
