Do I need yoga or fitness experience to attend this retreat?
Our retreat is open to all levels – no yoga or fitness experience needed! Our instructors are well-trained to work with all different fitness levels. Come as you are and we will meet you on your journey! A retreat can be a great way to find your practice and meet others on their journeys. Everyone has to start somewhere!
How big is the group?
From our experience, we believe that people benefit from smaller groups - you get more personal attention and it's far easier to bond. We will have less than 30 women at this retreat (including attendees, facilitators and instructors).
Aren't retreats really strict with no alcohol or mobile phones allowed?
We want to encourage you to make small changes to help you live healthier and be happier. We are not there as parental control; we just encourage consciousness. Our retreat is about switching off and honoring your mind and body, giving you space to connect with yourself. If you want a glass of wine or a beer with dinner, we won't stop you. Likewise, we urge you to resist the temptation to check your Facebook and emails daily, but we don't enforce it.
What do I need to bring? Do I need to bring a yoga mat?
We will provide everyone with a yoga mat to use during our classes but you are welcome to bring yours if you prefer. Other than that, we suggest comfortable clothes as well as a warm socks and cozy lounge-wear for our relaxation time. Do bring a rain jacket for outdoor activities! This facility includes and indoor pool, hot tub and sauna so swimwear is recommended. One week prior to the retreat, we will send you a detailed packing list!
Can I have a coaching or therapy session?
Yes. If you'd like to work on something in particular, it is possible to have private one-to-one session during the retreat. Sessions are limited, so please ask us at the time of booking.
Do I have to participate in all the activities?
No. This is your vacation! You can participate in as many or as few activities as you wish with absolutely no pressure.
I have food allergies/intolerances. Will there be anything I can eat?
As long as you let us know in advance, we can work with our chef to accommodate your dietary needs.
What is the cancellation policy?
There are no refunds; however, you can transfer your paid spot to someone else, so you can send a friend or family member to the retreat in your place. There will be neither refunds nor discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays or illness.
Are there payment arrangements or 'direct booking' available?
Yes, we are happy to set up a payment arrangement or direct booking (without any added fees)! Please e-mail Emily at [email protected] for more info. A 25% deposit is due at the time of booking.
