Renee believed every young person deserved adults who would see them, listen to them, challenge them, and believe in them. Her kindness, patience, and commitment helped students recognize their potential and become confident, lifelong learners.
In her honor, the Renee Beckett Simmons Scholarship for Learning will support a young man from Boston pursuing higher education who reflects the values Renee embodied: kindness, intelligence, commitment to community and family, and a passion for life and learning.
Come celebrate Renee, share memories, reconnect with community, and help us invest in a young man’s future.
She spent her life opening doors for others. Now you get to make sure that door never closes.

Student Ticket — $25
Special admission price for students. Student ID may be required.
General Admission — $50
Admission to the Renee Simmons Scholarship Gala and dinner.
Legacy Ticket — $75
Gala admission + a USB Digital Memory Book celebrating Renee's life through photographs, memories, and special moments.
VIP Legacy Ticket — $100
Gala admission + USB Digital Memory Book + VIP seating + special keepsake/program recognition.
Proceeds from the evening will support the Renee Beckett Simmons
Scholarship for Learning.
