About this Event
2023 is the 140th anniversary of Franz Kafka’s birth. What is his legacy and why should we still read Kafka?
In this hybrid event, Czech writer Radek Maly and Czech illustrator Renata Fucikova discuss their collaborative work Franz Kafka: A Man of His Time and Our Own, with Julia Kuehn and share their deep knowledge on the man, his works and his influence, and why we should still read Kafka 140 years on. The online talk will be accompanied by a VR experience of being turned into a beatle!
The VRwandlung – Kafka in Virtual Reality experience will also be available on 11 and 12 March between 2 - 6 pm at the Gallery, Goethe-Institut Hongkong. Admission for both the event and VR experience is by registration at [email protected].
