Interested in historical or fantasy sewing, but don’t know where to start? This beginner-friendly class will walk you through creating your own linen skirt, tailored to your measurements. Our expert instructors will guide you through the technical elements of creating your skirt with a modern sewing machine, while also explaining historical methods of garment construction.This garment is made entirely out of rectangular cuts of fabric, and does not require a pattern! Instructors will guide you through taking your own accurate measurements, calculating the sizes of rectangles to cut, cutting your fabric, and assembling your skirt.
This skirt is a perfect staple piece of any fantasy or historical ensemble. The skirt is size-adjustable, so even if your measurements change over time, the skirt will still be perfectly wearable for all of your fun fantasy and historical events.
This class is intended for beginner to intermediate sewists.
Linen fabric for your project is included in the ticket price.
