Remodeling Roadmap is a free monthly seminar series hosted at Hoover Public Library by Michael Armstrong of Refine LLC — a boutique residential design studio rooted in 25+ years of experience helping Birmingham-area homeowners create spaces that are beautiful, functional, and built for real life.
This first session, Before The Hammer Swings, tackles the most overlooked part of any remodeling project — the planning that happens before a single contractor is ever called. You'll learn why most remodels go over budget, the right order of operations for a successful project, and the questions every homeowner should be able to answer before they start.
