Remo Drive: Remo Drive are a Minnesota band who first became known for merging indie rock with D.I.Y. emo-punk. Inspired by a range of bands like Weezer, Vampire Weekend, the Police and Title Fight, they were initially associated with the 2010s "emo revival," issuing their debut, "Greatest Hits," in 2017. On their next two albums, 2019's "Natural, Everyday Degradation" and 2020's "A Portrait of an Ugly Man," they polished some of their edges and diversified their sound. They took their evolution a step further on 2024's eclectic "Mercy," which was produced by Phil Ek.
sports.: sports. is a three-piece "Midwest-emo" band. Their first full-length record, "Demon Daze," was released in 2015, and went on to develop a cult-like following after the band's hiatus in 2019. "Demon Daze" continued growing, earning its position as aquintessential midwest-emo record, and getting dubbed a 'gateway' into the genre. The record has been praised for its contributions to hybrid math-rock and emo alike, often receiving positive reviews since its inception, and becoming a time capsule of its era. 10 years later, sports. is reforming to celebrate 10 years of "Demon Daze," and to perform their first full band tour in over six years. The band is excited to perform again, to meet their many new fans, and to continue building off their newfound momentum. To quote the band on their return: "It's so sick to be back," and "I want to take over the world now, it's time to write some rippers."
