Remnants II is a deeply personal and historic exhibition that traces generations of Black family life through photography, painting, and installation. Held at 22 North Gallery in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the show builds on the first Remnants exhibition (2023), continuing the story of a grandmother, her ancestors, and her descendants.
The exhibition weaves together family photographs, archival documents, and contemporary artworks to honor those who came before and reflect on what they carried forward.
