As a village we are always very proud to turn our village RED in Remembrance of every single person and animal that has proudly served, fought and played a part in representing our Country Worldwide ❤️We will of course be putting up our Poppies and if you would like to decorate your windows as a gesture of respect that would be wonderful ❤️
Armistice Day Act of Remembrance at the Spanker.
Villagers asked to meet up from 10.30am and then at 11am we will have a 2 minutes silence.
Once this is completed the "Ode to Remembrance" poem will be read out.
Afterwards coffees and teas will be available from the Spanker
