On November 10, 2024, a Civic Party led by the Lord Mayor will host a Remembrance Service at the City's War Memorial in Northernhay Gardens. This event includes City Councillors, Honorary Aldermen, MPs, and representatives from various organizations. All are welcome to attend.The service, starting at 10:50 am and conducted by the Lord Mayor's Chaplain, will feature musical performances by the Exeter Salvation Army Band and the University of Exeter's Chapel Choir. Numerous ex-service Units and local associations will be present, carrying Standards and laying wreaths.
An digital Order of Service will be provided.
A Parade Marshall will provide military guidance, and there will be a Bugler for Reveille and Last Post. Civilians are encouraged to lay poppies or wreaths; simply approach the Parade Commander for guidance.
