REMEMBERING YOUR VOICE
About this Event
Your voice is already within you. This is an invitation to find it, feel it, remember it and let it move through you.
Remembering Your Voice is a weekly experiential voice class exploring the Foundations of The Song Inside — a practice of connecting breath, body, voice and sound to awaken and strengthen your authentic expression.
We begin with the Essential Breath, grounding into the body and creating space for the voice to emerge. From there, we move through gentle yawning and embodiment practices, breathy long tones, humming and vocal exploration.
We then explore toning through the vowel sounds, using sustained sound and vibration as a way to connect with and open the body's energetic centres, including the chakras.
Each class concludes with a channelled song — an intuitive vocal experience led by Ciara, where you are invited to join through toning, singing and spontaneous sound. Together, we create a shared field of voice, vibration and expression.
This is not about singing perfectly, performing, or having a “good” voice.
It is about listening inward, releasing the voice, becoming more embodied, and discovering what wants to be expressed through you.
This class is for you if you want to:
• Develop a deeper connection to your natural voice
• Build the foundational practices of The Song Inside
• Explore breath, tone, vibration and vocal expression
• Become more embodied and connected to your sound
• Release self-consciousness around using your voice
• Explore your voice as a tool for creativity, connection and healing
• Experience the freedom of singing without needing to “get it right”
All levels and experience are welcome.
No previous singing experience is necessary.
Come as a first introduction to The Song Inside, or return each week to deepen your practice and discover something new in your voice.
