Remembering the Legacy Historical Tour (Afternoon)

Learn about African American freedom fighters Denmark Vesey, Rosa Parks, Dorothy Height, and Coretta Scott King in our hour and fifteen minute guided tour at Vesey Lane Goods. Visitors will learn about the self-educated Black man, Denmark Vesey, who planned the most extensive slave rebellion in U.S. History. The tour will also cover African American historical figures such as Rosa Parks, Dorothy Height, and Coretta Scott King. It will cover aspects of their social justice work during the Civil Rights Movement.
