Dear friends, family and fellow scouters,As mentioned in our previous post, we have commissioned a commemorative park bench at Iona Beach Regional Park. This was a special place for Scouter Eric and our scout group where we held many investitures to welcome new members to Scouting. The bench is finally complete and we are inviting friends and family of Scouter Eric to join us in its inauguration. The bench will be made available for the next 15 years.
This is an informal event where we will hold a short moment of silence, share stories of our friend and reconnect with members of our Scouting community.
Active members are encouraged to wear their full Scouting uniform.
Those who wish to contribute towards the bench and remember Eric's the spirit for generations to come, please private message our group. Excess funds for this year will be directed to the Royal Canadian Legion in Scouter Eric's name.
