About this Event

Join leaders from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health for a series of conversations about Donald M. Steinwach's legacy. As chair of the Department of Health Policy and Management from 1994 - 2005, Don launched eight new centers and the first online courses. He also led the Health Services Research and Development Center and helped found what became AcademyHealth, the nation's leading association for healthcare researchers.

Speakers at the event will include Dean Keshia Pollack Porter, PhD; former dean Ellen MacKenzie, ScM, PhD; Dean Emeritus Michael Klag, MD, MPH; Dean Emeritus Al Sommer, MD, MHS; Richard Frank, PhD; Larry Kessler, ScD; Tony Lehman, MD, MSPH; Allison Lipitz-Snyderman, PhD; Laura Morlock, PhD, MA; Claudia Salzberg, PhD, MSE; Sherry Steinwachs; Mary Stuart, ScD; Jonathan Weiner, DrPH; and Albert Wu, MD, MPH, among others.
