On behalf of the AUKUS Fellowship, the Australia Malaysia Business Council Queensland, the International Circle, and the Nordic Forum of Australia, we warmly invite you to join us for a significant and heartfelt evening on the Green Deck atop Queensland Parliament House as we commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the September 11 attacks.
The evening will begin with a remembrance - honouring the lives lost, reflecting on the resilience of the American people, acknowledging the ongoing global impact of that day, and recognising the steadfast bond between Australia and the United States as allies committed to freedom, democracy, and shared values.
The event is a commemoration of the past and a celebration of the enduring bonds that carry us forward. Following the solemnity of the formalities, we will transition to a celebration of the enduring friendships that bind the wider Western family of nations - including our partners across Asia and the Pacific. This is an opportunity to affirm the civilisational ties that unite us, to celebrate all that is good about America and the West, and to honour the alliances that continue to safeguard liberty in our time.
