On Sunday, September 22nd at 2pm, Joe McKinney and Chuck Larrabee will discuss why the Alvarado Hotel closed and the efforts to save the landmark. Due to the strong interest shown in Fred Harvey historian Matt Kluge's recent presentation on the history of the hotel, we are anticipating a large turnout. As a result, the event has been moved to the spacious Ventana Salon at the Museum.
