About this Event
On November 1, we’re gathering to watch Remember Me, share a meal, and make space for caregivers, those doing the daily work of love. Come as you are. Bring your questions, your stories, and your heart. We’ll meet you there. With gratitude to our host, the Central Alabama Aging Consortium (CAAC), for opening its doors to caregivers and the community.
Who this is for
- Primary audience: Caregivers and family members supporting loved ones with memory loss or complex care needs.
- Also welcome: Alabama social workers (free CEUs), allied professionals, and community partners.
Why attend (caregiver-first)
- Clarity in a hard season: Understand hospice, legal planning, and long-term care without the jargon.
- Practical help now: Conversation scripts, decision trees, and a local resource map you can use immediately.
- Community: Connect with people who get it—and with professionals who can help.
For Alabama social workers

- Interdisciplinary updates across hospice, legal planning, and long-term care.
- Tools you can take back to practice Monday.
