It has been six years since the release of the final report by the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, which outlined 231 Calls for Justice demanding immediate action to address racialized, sexualized, and gender-based violence in Canada. Join us for an insightful conversation with Dr. Jennifer Brant and Dr. Kai Recollet as they discuss the significance of rematriating justice. They will explore how the newly edited compilation, Rematriating Justice: Honouring the Lives of Our Sisters in Spirit , contributes to the Calls for Justice, calling for accountability and policy change for Indigenous women, girls, trans, and two-spirit individuals across Turtle Island. This event offers an opportunity to engage with the powerful voices advocating for systemic change and justice in Indigenous communities.Speakers:
