This workshop is part of the Emotional Fitness Studio in Annapolis, a year-round wellness initiative offering FREE monthly in-person workshops and experiences.

In this Event:
Life can be stressful, and sometimes that stress gets stuck in our bodies. This workshop is a gentle introduction to somatic movement, a way toreconnect with your body, move mindfully and release tension.
This workshop will use music to gently guide you through movements to slowly "heat up" and then "cool down" your nervous system. Flowing movements are aimed at releasing physical and emotional tension. Discover how simple yet profound gentle movements can bring about a sense of release, relaxation, and restoration.
No experience is needed—just bring an open heart and a willingness to move.

About Chelsea:
I (Chelsea) am a mother to two strong-willed children, a creator, a Sagittarius, a responsible eldest daughter, story keeper, writer, epic schedule juggler, and a voracious reader. I am deeply connected to elders and ancestors, whose wisdom and life lessons guide me today. I believe our stories can be reclaimed and are forever changing. I love back road drives, the canopy of the forest, the smell of a campfire, and the depth and beauty of a mountain. I feel rooted and intuitive in my work and allow ideas to take off quickly when they feel right. I am meant to work with other people. I have no desire to do this deeply shifting and powerful work alone. I believe cultivating moments and practices that center ease, comfort, softness, and rest are deeply healing to our nervous systems.
