Release Open Mic: Opening Night Edition @ Honfleur Gallery

Release Open Mic returns for a special Opening Night Edition at Honfleur Gallery, held in conjunction with the opening reception for Life in Wood: Anacostia River Life, a solo exhibition by El’Badr Cauley.

This curated edition of Release invites poets, storytellers, and spoken word artists into an intimate gallery setting, creating space for reflection, expression, and connection inspired by the artwork and the stories of the Anacostia River.

This is a free community experience, designed to honor both the visual art and the voices in the room.

• Spoken word, poetry, and storytelling
• A curated, gallery-forward open mic experience
• Limited mic slots to preserve the flow of the exhibition
• Art, culture, and community in conversation
