Release: An Autumn Equinox Gathering
About this Event
The season is turning and asking us to set something down.
Join Josh Jansen of Primordial Sound Healing and M. Luke Hitchcock Jr. of Soul Brother Medicine for an evening built around release.
We open in circle with ceremonial cacao. From there the room moves through hapé and live sound together, held in two halves so that everyone is served and everyone is played for. We end with a moment of silence, room to share what came up, and we'll save space to close with gratitude.
This is not a class nor a performance. It is a gathering. Come as you are, move at your own pace, and take what is true for you. No experience needed.

Please arrive by 5:45 so we can begin on time. There is a liability waiver to sign at the door.
What to bring
A blanket or pillow. A journal if you write. A favorite mug if you have one. Anything that helps you feel at ease. Come with all parts of yourself and eat lightly a few hours before rather than right beforehand.
Please read before you register
Ceremonial cacao is a heart opener and a mild stimulant. Please check with your doctor first if you are pregnant or nursing, take antidepressants such as MAOIs or SSRIs, manage a heart condition or high blood pressure, or are sensitive to caffeine.
Hapé is a sacred tobacco snuff and contains nicotine. It is always optional and never required. Please skip hapé if you are pregnant or nursing, manage a heart condition or high blood pressure, are sensitive to nicotine, or are in nicotine recovery. You are fully welcome to receive the entire gathering without it, and no one will ask you why.

Sliding scale
Seed $39 • You are planting something. This tier is for when money is tight and you still want to be in the room.
Root $49 • You are steady enough to cover your own place in the circle.
Bloom $59 • You have a little extra, and it goes toward someone who does not.
Harvest $79 • You are giving from fullness. This tier provides resource for someone who could not otherwise come.
Every tier receives the same gathering. Pay what works best for you.
Hardship seats are held at no cost. Reach out if that is you. No questions asked.
Refunds
Full refund up to seven days before the gathering. After that, your seat transfers to a future Soul Brother Medicine gathering. Write to Josh or Luke anytime with any questions or concerns.

About your facilitators
Josh is a Denver-based sound healing practitioner and the founder of Primordial Sound Healing. A lifelong connection to music and a powerful experience in ceremony led him to create spaces where people can slow down, rest, and return to themselves. Using singing bowls, handpan, and Koshi chimes, he guides immersive sound journeys that invite the mind to quiet and stagnant energy to move. Each journey is held with care and presence, so people leave clearer, lighter, and more grounded.

Luke is a yoga teacher, cacao facilitator, and hip hop artist based in Denver. Soul Brother Medicine grew out of his longing to serve community, and out of a simple conviction that healing should not be something you have to afford. He holds space for people who are tired, curious, grieving, or just looking for somewhere to land. Ceremonies, sound baths, and private sessions are offered across the Front Range. There is always a place for you here.
