An experiential workshop for women seeking to reconnect with themselves beyond survival mode.
About this Event

When life becomes focused on responsibilities, achievement, caregiving, productivity, and meeting the expectations of others, it's easy to lose touch with the parts of ourselves that feel playful, creative, curious, and fully alive.

Many women move through their days in survival mode—constantly doing, planning, caring for others, and carrying the invisible weight of holding everything together. Over time, play can begin to feel unproductive, rest can feel uncomfortable, and self-expression can take a back seat to responsibility.

If you've ever found yourself wondering:

  • When did I stop doing things just because they brought me joy?
  • Who am I outside of what I accomplish for others?
  • Why does slowing down feel so difficult?

You're not the only one!

Relearning Play, Softness, & Self-Expression is an invitation to pause.

To step away from performance, productivity, and pressure—and reconnect with yourself through curiosity, creativity, embodiment, and gentle exploration.

Through reflection, sensory experiences, movement, and hands-on activities, you'll be invited to reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have become quieter over time: your playfulness, your creativity, your softness, and your capacity for joy.

This workshop is not about creating something beautiful or doing anything "right." It is about making space to slow down, listen inward, and experience yourself outside of achievement and expectations.

During this workshop, you'll be invited to explore:
  • Play without needing to be productive
  • Curiosity without pressure or expectations
  • Creativity as a form of self-expression rather than performance
  • The impact of burnout, perfectionism, and survival mode on self-connection
  • Embodiment, sensory experiences, and gentle ways of reconnecting with yourself
  • What it means to cultivate softness, joy, and self-expression in everyday life

What to Expect

We'll begin with a grounding practice and guided reflection on how stress, burnout, perfectionism, and the demands of daily life can disconnect us from ourselves.

Participants will then move through a series of experiential stations designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, reflection, embodiment, and self-connection. Activities may include sensory exploration, creative expression, building, journaling, and playful engagement.

There is no right way to participate.

You are invited to engage in whatever feels accessible and meaningful to you in the moment.

No artistic ability, creativity, or prior experience is required.

This workshop is about the process—not the outcome.

Included
  • Guided reflection and discussion
  • Experiential activity stations
  • All materials and supplies
  • Light refreshments
  • A small take-home goodie bag
