Programme

Brilliant duo Anna Kondrashina (flute) and Pavel Timofeyevsky (piano) present a vibrant programme of their own arrangements for flute and piano, shared in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We are very keen to welcome audiences of all ages, and this casual recital format makes it easy for everyone to enjoy the music in whatever way feels comfortable. Throughout the performance, the artists will weave in moments of storytelling, offering glimpses into the origins of the music and the creative process behind their reimagined versions.

Ahead of their Rewired Music album recording in January, the concert offers a chance to hear transcriptions crafted over the past five years and to experience the duo’s playful, engaging approach to performance.

Presented in association with the Philomel Creative Circle.

C. Schumann’s Romances
C. Debussy’s Violin Sonata
E. Zimbalist Fantasy on Themes from Rimsky-Korsakov’s “The Golden Cockerel”
