About this Event
Conversations become difficult not simply because people lack communication skills, but because pressure changes us.
Under stress, many of us become reactive, defensive, withdrawn, urgent, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the parts of ourselves that are thoughtful, grounded, and relational.
This 90-minute experiential workshop explores what actually helps people remain connected — to themselves and others — during emotionally charged conversations.
Together we’ll explore:
• why conversations escalate
• nervous system responses under pressure
• common relational patterns in conflict
• practical tools for regulation and repair
• how to communicate with greater steadiness, clarity, and connection
This is not therapy and not a traditional lecture.
The workshop combines teaching, reflection, facilitated discussion, and practical relational exercises in a small-group setting designed to support depth, safety, and meaningful conversation.
Ideal for:
professionals, parents, educators, helping professionals, leaders, couples, and anyone wanting to strengthen communication in work or relationships.
Space is intentionally limited to support a more grounded and connected experience.
