About this Event
[Quick note: We are currently finalising the venue and will confirm. Please register and we'll let you know as soon as it's confirmed!]
As an Olympian, I used to think mindset was about harder, tougher, stronger. I used to think it was about eliminating stress and pressure. I used to think it was about setting goals and chasing them.
The science shows I was way off.
At best, those strategies are only a third of what's needed for wellbeing, leadership and performance.
It was like sitting on a one-legged stool and wondering why it felt wobbly.
Drawing from four decades of research, the science of psychological flexibility provides a powerful framework.
For true resilience amidst stress, we need to develop personalised tools to unlock the three foundational pillars: Open Up, Be Present and Do What Matters.
Join me as I unpack the science, laying out strategies to elevate wellbeing, leadership and performance.
You'll:
- Understand the science of psychological flexibility
- Enhance self-awareness through reflection
- Build a personalised, evidence-based toolkit
- Foster connections, mutual support, and relationship-building through group activities
It's worked for executives, professionals, elite military, doctors, pro-athletes, investors, entrepreneurs and more.
Ultimately, it’s to bring out your best.

What they've said
"I've had the fortune of being exposed to various leadership coaches. I found Toby's messaging to be incredibly powerful and differentiated in recognising the nature of the human struggle, how to accept it, and work with not against it. His teachings have stuck with me and I've found myself repeatedly returning to his guidance as I move forward as a leader of a team, and of a family."

The session was hugely beneficial for our executive team as we navigate uncertain times and a series of new challenges/obstacles related to the current high inflation/interest rate environment.
Your ability to capture the imagination of the team in a short period of time was exceptional and it certainly left everyone asking, ‘when is the next session’.
Of particular benefit was your raw approach to the concept of negative thoughts, which we all experience and the fact these thoughts are natural and we all have them countless times per day.
We found your content relatable, easy to follow and engaging.
I hope we can have many more of these workshops in the coming years.
