Reindeer meet-and-greet and Holiday story time with Kayla McIntosh
About this Event
Kayla McIntosh is a Colorado-based author, reindeer farmer, and storyteller who finds deep meaning in the quiet rhythms of creation and care. She lives on a multigenerational family farm where she helps raise and care for reindeer—an experience that directly inspired her debut children's book, Lumi's Journey Home.
Join us for a fun story time and reindeer meet-and-greet on Sunday, December 13th at 1:00 PM at our Colfax location!
Because we can't bring a live reindeer into the store, we will be having this event outside so dress accordingly. Pictures with the reindeer are welcome!
We will have limited books for guests to purchase in store!
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Through both wonder and truth, Kayla McIntosh writes stories that remind readers they are fully known, deeply loved, and chosen. Her work draws inspiration from real-life moments: welcoming new life, witnessing resilience, and observing the beauty woven into every living thing.
In addition to writing, Kayla serves Colorado families as a birth doula. Whether she is supporting a mother or caring for animals on the farm, her work consistently centers on nurturing life, offering presence, and pointing others toward hope.
