Come along and learn to cook some delicious Carribbean eats for the audience of
The New Black Film Collective film screenings.
As part of the Windrush Rites of Passage programme, 10 young students have been trained up by Rights and Equalities in Newham and will lead on these intergenerational cooking workshops within community spaces across Newham. Together you will produce some tantalising Caribbean eats for the audience at the New Black Film Collective Film Screening of Getting it Back: The Story of Cymande.
The workshop will start at 4pm and finish at 6pm. Please note that there are 15 spaces available for this workshop

REIN’s series of intergenerational workshops aims to both highlight and celebrate the success and contributions of the Windrush generation and their descendants in the UK, the sharing of Caribbean recipes and stories provide the backdrop to the workshops
These workshops form part of Newham Council’s Rites of Passage Programme, which has been funded by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) and Near Neighbours.
