Nasher Haemisegger Fellow at SMU DataArts and Program Director for the Houston Endowment, Bao-Long Chu will share compelling examples from Houston Endowment’s successful initiatives, including the BIPOC Arts Network and Fund, Houston Cultural Districts, and the planning of a Latino Arts and Culture Center—demonstrating how funders can serve as accountable intermediaries while contributing to an emerging arts policy framework for Texas’s Gulf Coast.
Following the presentation, Margaret Black (LH Capital Inc./Lyda Hill Philanthropies) and Amanda Fransham (Meadows Foundation) will join us for a dynamic panel discussion exploring practical strategies for embedding these insights into arts philanthropy in Dallas.
