About this Event
Two questions:
- What does democracy look like when the people most impacted by decisions are the ones shaping them—with real power, not permission?
- What could grow if parents—especially Black, Indigenous, and other parents pushed to the margins—were trusted as leaders from the very beginning?
This gathering marks a new season—a season of redesign and reconstruction. Together, we’ll reflect on what it means to move beyond surface-level engagement and toward shared decision-making, real co-creation, and parent leadership rooted at the center of our work.
This conversation is grounded in three commitments:
Grace—how we care for one another while telling the truth.
Resolve—how we stay when the work gets heavy.
Fight—our refusal to be polite in the face of harm.
This is not just strategic work. It is soul work.
If you’re ready to slow down with intention, listen deeply, and help shape what comes next—this space is for you.
