Reiki Level 1 Training: Foundations of Energy HealingThis two-part Reiki Level 1 training is designed to introduce you to the foundations of Reiki and give you practical experience using it for yourself and others. Held over two half-day sessions, this course blends instruction, discussion, and hands-on practice in a supportive environment.
Day 1 – Learning the Foundations
The first half-day focuses on understanding what Reiki is and how it works. We’ll explore the history and principles of Reiki, the role of energy in wellbeing, and how Reiki supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance. You’ll learn the core hand positions for self-treatment and working with others, and discuss ethics, intuition, and creating a safe healing space.
Day 2 – Practice and Integration
The second half-day is devoted to practice and building confidence. You’ll begin by receiving your Reiki Level 1 attunement, then give and receive Reiki in guided partner sessions, refine hand placement and flow, and learn how to incorporate Reiki into daily life. We’ll also cover self-care practices, common experiences during sessions, and time for questions and reflection.
By the end of the training, you’ll feel comfortable offering Reiki for yourself, friends, family, and pets, and you’ll leave with practical tools to support balance, relaxation, and wellbeing.
