The book learning and lecture portion of the class (what Reiki is, what it is not, how it works and its history as well as the Level 1 attunement) will be held over Zoom. Then we will gather in person at the studio to learn the basics of conducting a Reiki session (including the use of a pendulum to check for energy blocks as well as learning about proper hand positions). All participants will have an opportunity to practice giving a Reiki session and we'll conclude the class with a self-Reiki session.This class is being offered at a cost of $150 which includes the Reiki 1st and 2nd Degree training manual published by the International Center for Reiki Training. Upon completion of this training, each student will be a certified Reiki I Practitioner.
